Iowa Dental Advocacy for Professional and Personal Thriving:  IADAPT

PROGRAM DETAILS

The IADAPT Program is entering its second year, offering exclusive executive coaching and therapy services to Iowa dentists.  This is a trusted, reliable, and confidential program that over 40 dentists took advantage of in 2025.

This program was thoughtfully designed to address the complex, career-specific challenges dentists may face at any point in their careers.  The exact things that make you competent and successful in the field of dentistry also give you particular vulnerabilities.  IADAPT is designed to provide specialized and personalized support in the style you want and deserve.

Many of the dentists who have benefited from the program so far, continue to receive services through IADAPT’s therapists and coaches because they have found value in IADAPT’s integrated approach and familiarity with dentistry in Iowa. Learn more about IADAPT and get a few examples of what topics you might discuss during a session and what you can expect to get out of it.

Dentistry can be an extremely rewarding career, but it comes with its own challenges and complications. You don’t have to tackle the ups and downs of dentistry alone – IADAPT can help!

EDUCATIONAL SESSION REPLAY

In September 2025, IADAPT hosted an after-hours informational session to help build the knowledge and skills necessary to improve your practice’s management and reduce workplace stress and anxiety.  This workshop targeted human resource processes, such as performance evaluation, compensation administration, and staff management.  When human resource processes are too informal, inconsistently implemented, or poorly documented it can result in stressful inefficiencies, confusion, avoidance, and problems.  It is important to know the relevant laws, and equally important to build the leadership skills needed to implement formalized processes that the organization understands, respects, and follows.

The workshop was co-led by Josh Hughes, Employment Law Specialist from Dorsey & Whitney, LLP and Jane Daniel, PHD from Flowstate Health. Watch the replay at your convenience!
