Local Anesthesia Course at IMOM

IDA is offering an IDB-approved local anesthesia course at the Iowa Mission of Mercy (IMOM). The clinical portion allows dental hygienists to obtain the experience required to apply for or renew a local anesthesia permit. 

The didactic training can be completed with an ADA CE Subscription, as detailed in the previous article. The following courses are required:

Once the didactic training is complete, hygienists should register to volunteer at IMOM and complete their required clinical experience under the supervision of dentists working at the clinic.
