Dental Offices Not Included in Latest State Mandates

Last evening Governor Reynolds announced new mandates that took effect at 12:01 AM today. The only healthcare-related item included is an order to reduce in-patient, nonessential surgeries in hospitals.
On November 10, Governor Reynolds extended the emergency disaster proclamation regarding dental services through 11:59 PM on December 10. Dentists must continue to comply with the Iowa Dental Board's Guidelines for the Safe Transition Back to Practice until this proclamation expires.
IDA continues to advocate on behalf of Iowa dentists with the governor’s office, Iowa Dental Board, and other state agencies to ensure dental offices remain open and Iowans have the opportunity to meet their oral healthcare needs.
