Bylaws Revision
The Des Moines District Dental Society bylaws are being updated to match the membership categories of the ADA and IDA, and the current business practices of the society. During the Fall 2023 district meeting the draft of the revised bylaws will be introduced, a vote on these bylaws will take place during the Fall 2024 district meeting. This is required by the current bylaws.

As editorial director and columnist for Dental Economics focusing on dental products and technology (Pearls for Your Practice), he offers a fresh approach in today’s commercial driven dental journalism. A graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, Dr. Austin served five years post-graduation as faculty in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. Today he maintains a full-time restorative dentistry private practice in San Antonio, Texas.
