Elizabeth Worsham Presents Mental Health Basics for Dentistry
Course Description: This is a fast-paced update on mental health as it relates to dentistry. It includes a description of the most common mental disorders encountered in a dental office including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance abuse. This course focuses on how to manage and build rapport with patients suffering from those disorders with case scenarios and video examples. Due to the broad nature of mental health, a Q&A session followed the live webinar presentation and is included in the on-demand recording.

Elizabeth Worsham, M.D.,
is a staff physician with the Psychiatry Service at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Jacksonville, Florida. She is courtesy assistant faculty for the University of Florida – Jacksonville, Department of Psychiatry. She is also a board-certified forensic psychiatrist providing evaluations and expert witness testimony regarding civil and criminal law.
